For several years now, a number of mathematical, scientific, acquisition, and analysis disciplines have been converging as components of a larger discipline—geospatial intelligence. GEOINT has become the cornerstone of our national and homeland security through its place at the functional center of many diverse intelligence methods.
Recently, the private sector is experiencing a similar convergence of geospatial intelligence disciplines. From this, USGIF was formed, becoming the first and only foundation where members can work together—toward a mutual goal of improving our nation’s security through the benefits of their work.
USGIF is the only organization of its kind aimed at bringing together the many disciplines involved in the geospatial intelligence sector to exchange ideas, share best practices, and promote the education and importance of a national geospatial intelligence agenda.
Join us as we pursue this mission!
