While having a cup of coffee at a great local restaurant, a barista told Deputy Kevin Ryan a family had already paid for his coffee. When Deputy Ryan went to thank them, he was met by their 3 year old son. The confident boy extended his hand and said, "Thank you for your service, Sir!". They shook hands and became fast friends. The family echoed their son's kind words and said the boy has already decided he wants to be a police officer someday. Deputy Ryan and the boy jumped into his police car to play with the lights and receive his Junior Deputy sticker. An exciting day for everyone! Thanks to everyone for your continued support!

This morning, Deputy Castillo met a 6 year old boy named "Miko", who was bouncing in excitement after seeing a real patrol vehicle pull up and park alongside of him. Miko's mother "T.T" told deputies Miko has wanted to be a police officer since he was given a Power-Wheels police car when he was 3. Miko had never been up close or inside a "real" police car, so Deputy Castillo gave him and up close personal look and demo!
