Circuits

For those of you who have not yet studied circuits, no worries. We will be working within safe parameters where trial and error are great ways to learn. Engineers tend to look at circuits in a very practical manner, whereas physicists focus more on circuit theory. Obviously, a knowledge of both theory and practice is necessary in order to create innovative electrical devices.

Electric Circuits Reading (pdf) Those of you who have taken physics with me have read this already.

How Diodes Work

P and N-type semiconductors are at the heart of all kinds of interesting electronic devices. This video illustrates the key ideas behind how these materials are used to make a one-way path for electric charge.
