From the 7th August to 16th August 2012
16 Scouts from Korea, Japan and Taiwan took part in the
1st CJK Venture Program
This Summer saw the Holding of the First Ever
CJK Project for Venture Scouts!!
The first ever CJK Venture Project was attended by 16 Scouts from Korea, Japan and Taiwan accompanied by 4 leaders and looked after by 8 Korean support staff.
The event, held over 9 days, was based around volunteering in a rural village in Gangwon Province, Korea.
The participants enjoyed a Welcome Dinner, Taiwan Night, Japan Night and Korea Night as well as a 'Forest Experience' and ice-breaking activities, as well as taking part in a homestay program.
The Scout volunteers' community activity was helping to harvest Lilly flowers in Daegili Village, which they did for three long days!
Doing hard work together, the team really bonded as a group, and they made a real difference to Daegili Village.
To all the participants and helpers that made the event possible, CONGRATULATIONS for being part of the first ever CJK project for Ventures. Let's hope there are many many more to come ~ ^^
