Runnymede Robotics has made it to the World Championships 3 years in a row, and in 2015, we were a finalist on our field. It takes a lot of hard work and money to compete at this level. We need your help to ensure the Runnymede program continues to succeed at this level. Click here to donate now!
Team 1310 greatly appreciates the generosity of its key sponsors (right). Without their financial support there would be no Runnymede Robotics Team.
Individual Donations are very important to our team. All of the money raised goes directly to supporting our students in their learning.
Fielding a Championship robot is not just about the trip to the Championships. You have to create a team that wins a spot. Runnymede Robotics needs to raise a lot of money each year to make the FRC program successful.
An example trip to the World Championships has the following costs:the US$5,000 entrance fee, the US$10,000 hotel room costs for the team over the four day competition, the $7,000 bus cost to get there and back, plus $3,000+ for the robot and its spare parts and tools. Unfortunately the ~30% unfavourable exchange rate is making it that much harder.
We need your help with a personal contribution, a corporate donation or getting your neighbours, boss, brothers and sisters, aunts, and uncles to make a donation. Some of our parents' employers have expressed interest in supporting the team. We need your help by contacting them and putting them in touch with us.
ANY size individual donation is greatly appreciated and adds up (even $5). Individual donations can be made here.
Corporate and Community Donations are generally in the $500 to $500+ range. We recognize our larger corporate supporters with logo placement on our t-shirts, promotional materials, on our robot and on our 8 ft x 6ft pit banner!
Please note if you require an income tax receipt, you MUST mail a cheque to Runnymede CI, 569 Jane St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada M6S 3A4. The cheque should be made out to "Toronto District School Board". The memo line MUST say Runnymede Robotics.
