WIP

Looong time ago i found this page and somehow decided to go for a model. In fact reference image i found initially was much smaller - just 400 × 252... Still wip, but i used it to stress cycles since poly count is around 1 mil - even the hinges on the hood are modeled :). Browning is also wip if what...

Well still not quite sure if this is a 1895 year's car - to what i dug out it looks like Franklin 1903. Also this oil box stuff or whatever it's called in front of the steering wheel comes from bug called Sunbeam (nuts modelled too :).

This one started all of the sudden when i saw adds on blendercookie.com. Just later while working on it i realized that it wouldn't be easy to get all the mr Wess Burke's bike's details into this flyingmachine :)(of course i might be wrong on this - David Revoy's concept could have been based on different animal...). On occasion i would strongly recommend his tutorials if you missed some bit of CGI knowledge or just wanted to relax for a moment or two. Well, munching blendercookies had helped me a lot so far - my many thanks to all people there!

Blender 3d Empty feature

This new Blender feature - images on empty - is just what doctor ordered only thing being that image transparency is lost as soon as you start to work with some mesh BEHIND that image... My 6 (yes - six) cats sometimes are driving me nuts, so when i saw this Cheshire i couldn't resist ( there's another one who claims it so go figure...)

Cheshire

It looks like Cycles doesn't like fur at all :( . And i spent so much time combing and cutting, weightpainting, what else, just to find out that one needs to click Interpolated on Children particles to get some decency...
