STATEMENT OF PURPOSE:

A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-evolving world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. I chose to major in Electrical Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my undergraduate program I learned the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering which together with practical course work reinforced my interest in the same. Today power is becoming a scarce commodity and with so much carbon emissions .I realized that there is a need to economize the usage of energy today. Therefore I was driven to take up a course which gives me an understanding of the Electrical field.The third year of under graduation was a breakthrough in my life, when I came across a subject of Power Electronics which developed a huge interest in semiconductor technology, Electric drives and Renewable Energy Sources. My major focus in Power Electronics is DC -DC Converters, Multi Port converters, Challenges in Solar and Wind Power Generation.

I have completed a four years Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Narayana Engineering College, Nellore and graduated in the year August-2010.My under graduate education has given me set of skills and strong fundamentals in both Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which helped me to develop a combinational way of thinking and research capabilities.

Being fascinated by Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Renewable Energy Sources that I studied in my B-Tech degree, I had the chance to demonstrate my research abilities conducting my degree project with title "Z-Source Converter Based Energy Recycling Zero Voltage Electronics Loads" In my project I studied the behavior of a Z source Converter to recycle the energy for Zero Voltage Electronics Loads to improve the performance.As a result of working on my degree project work, I have not only gained valuable knowledge and confidence in my technical skills but also an important experience working at the lab.Also, I had the chance to expand my workbench skills at a professional level as dealing with simulation, testing and repairing of Power Electronics Circuits during my lab hours.

Driven by my passion for research and my interest in environmental and the clean energy generation with improved efficiency, i have pursued Masters degree in Power Electronics and Drives at Anna University, Chennai Regional Center, Coimbatore.Focusing to my intrest in the area of renewable energy, I have worked performing a research in the post graduation thesis with title "Study of Response Obtained by PV MPPT with Grid Connected using Boost and CUK Converters". Combining my previous technical and economical experience, the work result pointed me that I can stand up to the expectations by delivering the final project with a hundred percent success.

With all the technical and research knowledge gained, I have choosen to the teaching profession which is the best fitted profession for my enthusiasm and joy in exploring the challenging things in Renewable Energy generation with the support of young engineering buddies. I have gained 7 years of teaching experience till today .I have published several papers in scopus indexed journals and Presented Papers in International/National Conferences and Attended several Short Term Training courses,Workshops and Faculty Development Training Program which has boosted my interest in the domains of Power Electronics and Renewable Energy fields to the next level. I am giving all my possible support and guidance to the Engineering Undergraduate(B-Tech) students as well Post Graduate students(M-Tech) in achieving their dreams.I would like to continue working in academia to keep tabs on the recent trends in this research area and find ways to improvise.


EXPERIENCE: 07 YEARS

Working as an Assistant Professor in Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT) (Autonomous Campus) ,Tumakuru, Karnataka for the past 4 years(2014-Till Date).

Worked as an Assistant Professor in St. Johns College of Engineering& Technology,Yerrakota, Yemmiganur-518360, Kurnool Dist,A.P for 1 year(2013-2014 ).

ACHIEVEMENTS

  • Acting as one of the Principal Investigator in Designing and Developing of an E-Bicycle-2021.

  • Member of Interational Assosiation For Engineers(IAENG).(Membership Number is: 120271.)

  • Member of Interational Socity for Research And Devolopment (ISRD)(Membership Number is:(M4150901228).

  • Delivered a Technical Talk as a Resource Person on "PV and Battery Sizing For Roof Top Application" on 12th November 2021 at Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering,Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering,Mysore,Karnataka

  • Attended and Certified One Month(30 days) Internship on "RENEWABLE ENERGY MASTER CLASS" at Pantech e learning Pvt Ltd,Chennai.from 17-October 2021-16-November-2021.

  • Attended and Certified a NPTEL-2021 course on “DC Micro grid and Control Systems” by Professor Avik Bhattacharya ,Organised by Indian Institute of Technology,Roorkee.

  • Best Paper Award:Presented a paper titled "Renewable Energy fed BLDC Motor with DC-DC converter by implementing MPPT Technique for EV applications" at 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering Science and Management (ICEESM-18), Organized by R.G.M College of Engineering Technology(Autonomous),Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh on December 21st & 22nd 2018.

  • Project Titled "Standalone Solar powered water purifier for rural development "has been selected for KSCST .
