1.Major Project [2019-2020]

Title: Restrained synthesis of  α - Fe2O3 and its composites for photoinduced applications (Link for abstract)

1.1. Academic accomplishments 

• Best Oral Presentation award (1st position & Cash Prize) in CAPE 2021, a National level symposium in February 28 conducted by SASTRA university, a student chapter under IIChE, Tamilnadu,  INDIA. Cash Prize: /-

• 1st Position (& Cash Prize) in Navrachanaa 2020, a National level project competition in general category theme conducted by SVVV College, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, INDIA.  Award Name: Ekalavya award for student & Dronacharya award for Guide. Cash Prize: 5000 & 3000/-

• Best Paper award (1st Position & Cash prize) at Student Chemical Engineering Congress [SCHEMCON] 2020, a National level symposium conducted by IIChE, Kolkata, West Bengal, INDIA. Cash Prize: 1500/-

1.2. Workshops and Conferences

• One week Faculty Development Program (FDP) on "Research Ethics & Characterization Techniques in material science", conducted by MHRD, Government of India with 'A' Grade under CAS of UGC & AICTE.

• 6 Week Internship on “Zero Liquid Discharge Management”, with ‘A+’ grade conducted by IIChE, 2020

• 1st Position (& Cash Prize)in National level Essay competition on the topic "Oil and Gas scenario during COVID-19" conducted by IIChE - Bengaluru Regional Centre, INDIA

• The major project has been nominated for Best Major project award among a pool of projects from different colleges by IIChE - BRC

• Runners in volleyball competition during Biochess 2018 symposium, conducted by Department of Chemical Engineering, SIT, Tumakuru
