Shades of Autumn
This piece of art is created by using coffee. I used coffee powder and mixed it with different amounts of water to create each shade. I incorporated 4 different shades into my drawing, and purposely didn't blend them so that these shades would stand out individually. The strokes of the brush are also visible on my piece, but this was intended as I wanted to create a sort of 'rough' pattern in my drawing and not make it look perfect. This is why I call this the 'shades of autumn' as it's not perfect, but reminds me of the autumn period and how leaves gradually start falling off the trees. I tried to represent the same idea by drawing an almost leaf-less tree with two birds resting on it.
