IB " In Your Element" Week
The "In Your Elements" event in the first week of August was a vibrant celebration, integrating IB Learner Profile Attributes and Approaches to Learning (ATL) through activities like story time, hand painting, and goal setting. Our young learners were fully engaged and beautifully settled into their new school environment.

Friendship Day
We celebrated Friendship Day with activities that highlighted the importance of friends, including making friendship bands, dancing, and singing. Through discussions and hand painting, children learned that love, respect, and care are essential to growing the "Friendship."

Independence Day
Independence Day was celebrated with enthusiasm in the Early Years, honouring our freedom fighters' sacrifices. Children dressed in traditional attire, participated in art and craft activities, and performed patriotic songs and dances. They also decorated the Indian flag, painted national symbols, and learned about the importance of our freedom fighters.

Raksha Bandhan
Raksha Bandhan was joyfully celebrated in the Early Years, where children created and exchanged vibrant rakhis, symbolizing the bond between siblings. They engaged in stories and discussions about the significance of this tradition, deepening their understanding of love and protection. The day was filled with warmth and festive cheer.

Happy Reading Club
Parents from the Early Years collaborated with teachers to make learning more engaging, with Ms. Vaishnavi Sarma from EY2 narrating the story of "Bilby Moon" and leading a hands-on activity, while Ms. Shefali Bagga from EY3 shared the story of Ganesha. It was wonderful to see parents actively involved in the learning and teaching process, enriching the experience for the children.

Pyjama Party
We had a fantastic time celebrating our Early Years Pyjama Party today! The kids had a blast watching a movie, dancing with their soft toys, and engaging in pretend play with their cuddly companions. The highlight was decorating their own sleeping masks, and they were thrilled to take home balloons as a keepsake. The movie with popcorn added an extra layer of fun, making the day truly memorable.

Master Chef with Dad
EY 2 celebrated MasterChef with dads under their unit on relationships! The event was filled with vibrant energy as dads cooked up delicious dishes. It was a joyful day with heart-warming songs, fun warm-ups, and an epic dodgeball game where the kids outshined their dads. A truly mesmerizing bonding experience! 🧑🍳👨👧👦 #FamilyTime

International Dot Day
Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' The Dot, International Dot Day celebrates creativity, courage, and collaboration. Our young learners embraced their artistic sides through exciting projects: EY 1 created collaborative dot art, EY 2 explored abstract designs with circular shapes, and EY 3 used dots to bring imaginative objects to life. The day was filled with fun, creativity, and joyful learning!

Happy Reading Club
In ET 1, Ms. Sweta Trivedy read "The Shepherd and the Wolf," while in EY 2, Ms. Aafreen Athani emphasized the importance of honesty. From EY 3, Ms. Vaibhavi read "The Bad Seed," and the learners collaborated with the facilitators, enjoying the experience of having their parents participate in school activities.

Health Education in Early Years
Dr. Chinmay and Dr. Shruti from Symbiosis Centre of Health Care conducted an engaging session for Early Years as part of the Student Health Education Program. They taught learners the importance of oral hygiene, proper handwashing techniques, and keeping our environment clean and germ-free. It was an informative and interactive experience for our young students!

The early years celebrated Fun with Numbers, where learners engaged in visually appealing activities centred around core mathematics concepts. Richa Katyal from EY 1, Vijaya Chakravarty from EY 2, and Priyanka Jain from EY 3 conducted engaging reading sessions on various topics, such as helping one another, embracing change in life, and the importance of plants in our lives. Our young learners celebrated Diwali with joy, dressed in vibrant ethnic wear and taking part in a heartfelt Pooja. Children's Day
Our Children’s Day celebration was an adventure-filled delight! From thrilling bumper car rides to exploring a massive indoor waterfall, the kids were captivated by every activity. They enjoyed magic tricks from a friendly mascot and exclusive VIP access to virtual reality rides. The day ended with a feast at McDonald’s, complete with surprise gift boxes, leaving the kids beaming with joy. It was a day to remember, filled with excitement and cherished moments!

Outdoor Day in Early Years
The kids had an unforgettable day filled with excitement and joy! From bullock cart and tractor rides to trampoline fun, zip-lining, music, and games—every moment was pure delight. The highlight of the day was the Bubble of the Week session by Neil Sharma, where he captivated everyone with his enchanting narration of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, using mesmerising props. A perfect blend of fun, learning, and adventure—truly a day to remember!

What a milestone! The Early Years students celebrated their 100 days with fun and educational activities that highlighted their journey:⏰ Making a Clock: EY1 placed numbers, EY2 practiced counting by 5s, and EY3 explained the concept of time—what a fun way to learn!🌿 Progression Tree: A collaborative masterpiece symbolizing growth—EY1 wrote letters, EY2 added CVC words, and EY3 contributed blends and digraphs, showcasing their learning progression.🎭 Creative Fun: From crafting "100 Days" themed eye masks to exploring interactive learning corners, the day was filled with joy and creativity.✨ The celebration wrapped up with fun-filled games, leaving smiles all around.

Striking a Chord: A Musical Journey with Mr. Joshua Rorick
Our students had an exciting and enriching session with Mr. Joshua Rorick, where they explored the elements of rhythm, melody, and harmony through the magic of live music! 🎸✨ The interactive experience encouraged active listening as students identified emotions conveyed through music and even got a chance to play the ukulele themselves. Celebrating the Communicator Profile through Stories and Smiles
Throughout the month, our learners joyfully explored the IB learner profile of being a Communicator through engaging and interactive activities during our Happy Reading Club. With stories as a powerful medium, children listened, shared, and expressed their thoughts with confidence and creativity. We were thrilled to have enthusiastic parent volunteers from EY1, EY2, and EY3 join us in this journey—bringing stories to life in the most delightful way. Mythreyi Rangarajan captivated the young audience with The Brave Little Squirrel, highlighting bravery and clear expression, while Anjali Nebhnani animatedly narrated The Gruffalo’s Child, encouraging children to listen attentively and respond with imagination. These special sessions not only deepened our learners’ understanding of the communicator profile but also created heartwarming moments of connection between home and school.

Learn and Grow with Alphabets!
We had an exciting and enriching day filled with playful literacy activities that brought language learning to life! From "Swimming in the Ocean," where children caught word-labeled fish and matched them with pictures, to storytelling and sequencing beloved tales like Cinderella and The Greedy Dog, every moment was filled with joyful learning. Children jumped through alphabet challenges in Hopscotch with Letters, explored vocabulary on our interactive Word Wall, labeled pictures for word recognition, and framed sentences using CVC and sight words. Engaging reading games added a spark of fun while building fluency and confidence. It was a vibrant celebration of literacy, creativity, and curiosity—thank you to our families for your continued encouragement in keeping the love of reading alive at home!

A Creative Showcase: Student-Led Conference Celebrates the Arts
Our little artists truly shined at the Unit Culmination on Different Forms of Art, confidently showcasing their creativity through energetic Hip-Hop, graceful Ballet, vibrant Bollywood performances, and expressive story enactments. The celebration continued as parents explored the Art Exhibition, where children proudly explained their artistic creations—including Japanese Brush Painting, Warli Art, Mandala Art, Pottery, and more. 🎨🎶 It was a joyful day filled with music, dance, storytelling, and artistic expression—a beautiful celebration of learning through the arts!

Reflecting Through Stories: A Meaningful Happy Reading Club Session
During the Happy Reading Club, our students embraced the IB learner profile of being Reflective throughout the month, taking time to reflect on their work using visuals and thoughtful discussions. Parents also participated in this reflective journey, joining in the storytelling sessions. Ms. Sweta Trivedy enchanted the children with a captivating story, while Anisha Gupta read The Day the Crayons Quit, a fun and imaginative tale that sparked creativity and reflection. Kritika Verma followed with a story centered on art, encouraging children to think about the role of creativity and expression in their lives. These reflective moments, combined with engaging stories, created a meaningful experience that encouraged our learners to think deeply about their work and artistic journeys.

"Little Hands, Big Hearts: Celebrating Mother Earth Day in Early Years"
Our Early Years learners came together to celebrate Mother Earth Day with joy, curiosity, and a deep sense of connection to the world around them. The day unfolded through a series of meaningful experiences that helped children understand the importance of caring for our planet. It began with a nature walk, where children explored their surroundings and recognized that everything around them is part of Mother Earth. Back in class, they reflected on their observations through a mind map and watched videos that sparked thoughtful discussions on how to protect the Earth. They created a “Happy Mother Earth” craft and shared the special gifts they would give her—like saving electricity, planting more trees, and keeping the environment clean. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt pledge, as the children promised to do their part in making Mother Earth happy, turning the day into a joyful blend of learning, creativity, and environmental awareness.

The children had an exciting, up-close encounter with the fire brigade, where they learned how firefighters bravely put out fires and explored the various tools and equipment they use to keep us safe. Their curiosity was sparked, and they were truly fascinated by the entire experience! 🔥🚒 At the salon, the children explored the different self-care services people use to look after themselves. As part of our ongoing Unit of Inquiry on Seasons, our Early Years students had a truly magical experience as they visited Snow World at Game Palacio, where they got to explore the wonders of winter in the middle of summer! The children were filled with excitement as they played in the snow, enjoyed snow slides, and went on fun winter-themed rides, creating unforgettable memories along the way. This experiential trip brought their classroom learning to life, allowing them to feel the chill of the season and understand the concept of seasonal change in a fun, hands-on way. It also encouraged meaningful conversations about how seasons differ around the world, helping our young learners make local and global connections. EY2 Students Shine in Student-Teacher Conference! 🌟
Our EY2 students left their teachers thoroughly impressed during the recent student-teacher conference on their unit about Seasons. With remarkable confidence, the young learners guided their teachers through their learning journey — from the transdisciplinary theme ‘How the World Works’ to their Central Idea, Lines of Inquiry, and even assessment strategies. They spoke insightfully about complex concepts such as rotation and revolution, clearly demonstrating their understanding and engagement. Seeing our youngest learners articulate their knowledge with such enthusiasm and clarity was heartening!
