Sioux Central FFA is a county chapter in Clay County. *Sioux Central FFA members do NOT show as District exhibitors at Clay County.*
**All FFA members showing animals must complete YQCA training annually**
Generally, students can identify livestock for FFA beginning in 7th grade and can show until the fourth National FFA Convention dates after graduation. Some exceptions/limitations exist for some species at the Clay County Fair.
Check rule books for each species, but in general:
Horse: black jeans, official jacket/dress
All others: neat jeans, show shoes/boots, and a clean chapter FFA t-shirt or embroidered polo

May 15: identification paper forms due to Mrs. Bloom (CCF)

February 1: performance beef (market/halter) DNA, weigh-in sheet, and payment due (ISF)
March 15: state fair tag orders due to the chapter advisor

April 15 through May 14: identify and tag state fair swine, goats, and sheep; an FFA advisor must be present when animals are tagged and identified.
May 1: broiler order forms due
May 15: identifications due online (ISF) AND DNA samples & forms postmarked:
