Kari Schmidt is the elementary principal at Sioux Central Elementary School. She is originally from Fergus Falls, MN, but spent 17 years of her life in Jackson, MN with the Jackson County Central School District. Kari was the elementary principal for three years, the middle school principal for nine years, and the middle school/elementary principal for three years. She just completed her ninth year at Sioux Central, says she loves it here. Kari says, "Everyone here is like family, and my children have made it our home." She is married to Brian Schmidt from Everly, IA, and they live on an acreage just outside of Everly. She has two children, Owen (17) and Quinn (15) and three step-children Brian John (22), Marty, and Joie (21).
