Ms. Lisa Brock

I am Ms. Brock. I am excited to be back in 5th grade this year. I am a graduate of Ingleside High School (right down the road) and received my teaching degree from Texas A&M-Kingsville (Go Javalinas!) I received my master's degree in Educational Technology at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Go Islanders!) I am a diehard Cowboys fan, win or lose, I support my boys! I love football and baseball, and love sitting in the stands watching a game!

I have 2 handsome sons and a beautiful granddaughter. Seth is my oldest and lives in Missouri with my daughter-in-law Kelie and my full of spirit granddaughter, Skylie who is now three years old. I have a love of learning that I hope is contagious! Science is all around us and I can't wait to discover new things with you!

Ms. B. Funke

Hello! I'm Ms. Funke, the loudest and proudest new member of the 5th grade team at Sinton Elementary! I am a graduate of Tuloso-Midway (all 12 years) and attended college at CCSU, what is now know as Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.

I have two amazing children, William and Emily, both fightin' Texas Aggies. William lives in Houston, works for a large machinery company and is married to Michelle, my daughter-in-law, who is also a teacher. Emily works at the University of Colorado Boulder as the assistant to the head football coach. I have a long-haired ginger cat named Sassy who lives up to her name every day.

Science is my passion, and I love sharing that passion with my students. I will also be teaching grammer and writing this year which is so exciting. New is good!! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
