PRO WORK organized in the Netherlands for the Erasmus+ project ART a highly anticipated Multiplier Event to showcase the project's achievements and share the impact of virtual reality (VR) in education. The event brought together educators, policymakers, researchers, and VR enthusiasts to explore the innovative use of VR technology in enhancing teaching and learning experiences.

 The event commenced with an introduction to the ART project, its objectives, and the collaborative efforts undertaken by international partners to integrate VR into various educational contexts. Attendees were provided with an overview of the project's outcomes, including the development of VR learning materials, instructional strategies, and best practices for utilizing VR in the classroom.

 Participants had the opportunity to experience VR first-hand through interactive VR stations set up during the event. They engaged with educational VR applications and simulations that showcased the versatility of VR in delivering content and fostering experiential learning.

Artevelde University of Applied Sciences organized 2 multiplier events:

1.   ART VR project @International Days educational bachelor of preschool and primary education on 23/02/2023. International Days: students are given the opportunity to get acquainted with international projects, taught by students and teachers of their own study programme and from foreign partner schools. Participants could choose the ART project as an elective workshop. After a project presentation, participants could get started with the VR glasses to explore the virtual ART world. 

2.   ART VR project @Meeting day for SmartSchools – educational bachelor of primary education on 28/03/2023. On the meeting day for all the internship schools with which our primary education teacher training programme cooperates, the participants (teachers and directors) could opt for the ART project as an in-depth session. Students from the secondary school teacher training programme were also invited. Here too, after a project presentation, there was a moment to experiment with the designed VR materials and to visit the selected European museums virtually 

Sinergia organized the multiplier event in Bitonto, Italy, on 28/02/2023, inviting representatives of the local municipality, the local primary and secondary schools, education and cultural organizations, and other education and training bodies. 

During the event we registered a great interest in the proposed methodology and in the practical workshop where the participants had the chance to experience the virtual visits in the European cultural sites embedded in ART platform.

Many ideas and requests for follow up activities came.

Siglo22 organised two multiplier events in Spain. The first took place on 16 May 2023 at the Fundación de Cultura Islámica (FUNCI). During the project, Siglo22 and FUNCI have been collaborating to gain access to Islamic museums and monuments. Therefore, we were very excited to go to the FUNCI offices and show them the result of this collaboration.

The second multiplier event took place on 31 May 2023 at the IES Río Arba de Tauste (Zaragoza). This school is one of the schools that participated in the pilots of the project, and we had the opportunity to share with all the teachers who could not participate in the pilots, the project, its results and resources.
