We put together this overview to help give you the best experience while you are staying at our Condo. We hope you love Siesta Key as much as we do and think of this place as your own! – Emily and Cory
· We will provide you with a code for the front door prior to arriving. The 5 digit code is followed by the check-mark in the lower left corner of the keypad.
· Within the first day or two of arriving, please check-in with the office across the street and let them know you are staying in our unit.
· Our Parking spot is spot 95 and it is the first parking spot closest to the Gulf and directly under our unit. There is additional guest parking right when you pull in at the opposite end of the building.
· Check in time is 4pm unless we have coordinated with you for a different time.
· Wifi: Excelsior 101 PW: Siesta101
· The top of the keypad on the owner's closet lights up after you press it to enter the code. Do not attempt to use the fingerprint on the keypad.
· You are welcome to use anything in our indoor or outdoor owner’s closets. Please be sure to return items as you found them. If you use up the last of the items (paper products, dishwasher and washing machine detergent, etc), please replenish them prior to leaving.
· Outside are golf clubs, a wagon, beach toys, boogie boards, coolers, a Cool Cabana, pickle ball, etc for you to use.
· Here are instructions for how to set up the CoolCabana. You should be able to push the wagon back into the outdoor closet and leave it loaded each night.
· If you have leftover non-perishable food and drinks that you want to leave in the owner’s closet, feel free too. These are fair game for any guests.
· Any linens in the OC must be washed and returned to the OC prior to leaving. Other Linen information is below.
· You are welcome to use the Keurig in the OC but please empty it, clean it, and return it to the OC upon leaving.
· The HVAC is controlled by a company called VillaControl along with the front door lock. On your check in and check out dates, the HVAC will be set automatically.
· You can turn the AC down to 71* but the default temperature is 74*.
· If you leave the back screen door open for longer than 2 minutes, the HVAC will turn off completely and you will have to reactivate the AC by turning it back to Cool on the thermostat.
· Feel free to open or close vents in the rooms if they are too hot or too cold. Especially the front bedroom.
· There are plenty of linens in the unit. Beach towels are in a basket by the backdoor and the bench.
· Bathroom towels should be in the drawers or under the sinks
· Kitchen towels - left of the stove and light in color with a checkered pattern are included in the cleaning service.
· Please leave a reasonable number of towels for the linen service. One to two days’ worth is appropriate.
· Please feel free to use the laundry in the closet next to the front bedroom. Please do not leave anything in the washer or dryer upon leaving.
· The living room TV is a Smart TV and you can access the apps by hitting the cube on the Samsung TV remote.
· There is a cable box in the right cabinet of the TV console. You may have to have the doors open to access the Xfinity cable box. Ensure the TV is on the correct source/input to access the cable box. HDMI 1
· The master bedroom has a Smart TV. The home button will bring up the apps. The Xfinity App is cable access.
· The trash chute is on our same floor. Take a left out of our unit and walk around the first corner. You will see the door to give you access to the trash chute. Please ensure all trash is bagged.
· Recycling is downstairs near the elevators/mailboxes on the backside of the building. Do not put bags in the recycling. It should be loose and dumped in. Please break up any boxes prior to putting them in the recycling bins.
· Please ensure all trash and recycling is taken out prior to checking out.
· There are two trash bags provided in the kitchen for garbage cans. Additional bags will be in the OC or will need to be purchased/brought
· They provide a sponge, a small bottle of dish soap, and two dishwasher pods. Any additional pods will be in the OC or will need to be purchased/brought
· The water heater is only 40 gallons so it can run out faster than a typical home water heater but also heats quickly.
· The ice maker/water does not work on the fridge. We recommend buying bags of ice and jugs of water at the grocery store if you do not want to drink the FL tap water.
· You need a key to the pool bathrooms and will have to access the beach and pool with the key fobs. We recommend taking both fobs to the beach if multiple people will be there so you don’t have to share one key/fob.
· The outdoor shower by the pool has hot water.
· The switch to activate the hot tub is on the wall near the water fountain. It is an unmarked electrical box.
· The grill is in the middle of the building near the recycling bins/mailboxes. There are grill tools in the cabinet above the refrigerator. There is a lighter in the owner’s cabinet if the one by the grill doesn’t work.
· There is a market down near Captain Curt’s. It is pricey but a good place to go if you need something in a pinch.
· There is Frog Hop and other free (tips) shuttle services you can look up and call to request rides on the island.
· Publix is right off the island and Costco is only about 10 mins away.
· There is a workout room, additional pool, pier, and courtyard across the street on the Excelsior Bay side
· Check out time is 10am unless we have coordinated with you for a different time.
