DO WE HAVE TO TAKE NOTES?

YES! Note taking is an important skill, keeps you focused in class, and helps you study.

Your science notebook is an extremely important tool – details to follow.

WHAT ABOUT HOMEWORK?

You’ll have an average of 20 minutes most nights, according to school policy. Assignments are usually given in advance, so you will be able to plan ahead.

Homework must be ready to hand in when the bell rings – this means it is neat, complete, has a full heading (follow the heading on this paper), and is stapled if necessary. Please use blue or black ink, or black pencil. Write neatly – if I can’t read it, I can’t grade it.

Late work will lose 25% credit each day it is late.

WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS?

Check the Class Log Book – it lists the assignments, what I collected, and what handouts were given for each day.

Assignments are posted on the Simsbury Schools website, under my name.

You’ll need to see me to make up all missed work as soon as possible.

Time extensions are given according to school policy, as stated in your handbook.

Borrow missed notes from a classmate (any Green Team science class).

MAKE SURE YOU CHECK GOOGLE CLASSROOM OFTEN!!!!!!!!!
