Hello! I'm Laura Doty, School Counselor at Simpson Elementary School. I have been a teacher for 21 years. I taught music and art at Franklin Elementary, then taught first grade for 11 years. I was the music teacher here at SES for 3 years then I was the school counselor and music teacher before becoming solely the school counselor.

I have been married to my husband, Brandon, for 21 years and we have two girls, Madaleigh and Maecyn (Macy). Madaleigh is 16 years old and attends Franklin-Simpson High School and is an assistant teacher at All Starz Dance Studio. Maecyn is 8 years old and attends Simpson Elementary. Both of my girls are dancers on the Superstarz Competition Dance Team at All-Starz Dance Academy and I LOVE helping out and being a dance mom! We love to travel, go to church, and spend time with family and friends. I also LOVE to bake!
