Please have a gmail account to access all the resources in this programme. Set up a Microsoft account using your gmail address. Please have both ready before joining this programme, including the taster. If you are using Yahoo, Yahoo.com.hk or Hotmail as your main email address, consider opening up a gmail account. You will need it to join this course and in your future job hunting. Recruiters frown on seeing Yahoo or Hotmail addresses. Please have a UK mobile number set up for Whatsapp communications. In this programme, we do NOT use Signal or any other IM. 

We try to keep everything free in this programme so you could keep your costs down while settling in the UK. This is the reason why we use Google Sheets and other Google Drive products to deliver our course. Please have your Google account set up properly. Be ready to access files under Share With Me in your Google Drive. If you are not familiar with Google Sheets and Google Drive, spend some time to get acquainted with it. Google Sheets does 95% of what Excel has to offer plus a lot more, such as support for using SQL which is required in this course. 

For Low Code, we use Power Apps which requires a licencse. You may enjoy a free trial of one month by signing up free trial for Microsoft Dynamics Sales. DO NOT sign up as yet until your course commences because you will run out of your 'free trial' very soon if you sign up too early. You should have free access to Power Apps as long as you have a legit Microsoft Office license in place.

We recommend you to create a Microsoft account using your Gmail so you are not switching between profiles. Managing multiple identities and multiple email addresses can slow you down in your learning. 

We use Google Meet for video conferencing, again to keep your cost down. Please log in to meet.google.com/ato-xwpj-ufe if you are joining online. We prefer you to join in person as far as possible. 

Half of the course contents is about Power Apps, a Low Code tool to build apps really fast. Please try the following steps to ascertain your access to Power Apps:

1. Log in your Microsoft account using your Gmail address. 

2. Go to https://make.powerapps.com 

3. Capture and send the screenshot if there is an error
