Lee Mayo is a Southend kid come good. Born to poverty and a life of hardship, Lee turned to the dark side to find his way out of his predicament and became a drug runner. 

However, he remarkably turned his life around to become a Champion Martial Artist, a very respected Security Operative and most recently, a published author. 

Teaming up with Simon Morrell of The Storytellers, his first effort at putting pen to paper was the very emotional article 'A Title for Joe' which saw him travel to Thailand to do battle for his late friends Muay Thai belt. He decided to go one step further in his writing career and again with The Storytellers penned the five-star reviewed book (and true story) 'Paths, the Fight for Honour'.

Lee is currently working with Simon on 'Paedophile Punishers', a gritty tale set to be released in late 2023.
