The Transition Partnership Program (TTP) is a federally funded program to help support the transition of our students from academic life to the work environment.
We serve selected students with special educational needs to provide them with the tools they need to succeed when high school is over.
TPP works with students to help them define the kind of work they would like to pursue and help them plan to achieve their goals.
Our students are highly motivated and have clear objectives with regard to their future careers.

Support can continue after high school through the Department of Rehabilitation and may include job placement assistance and vocational training or financial assistance to purchase job-required tools or uniforms.

TPP offers students the opportunity to explore career pathways, job training and work experience. Students work with an Employment Specialist to identify careers that will fit their unique abilities, skills and interests.
The process includes interest assessments, resume preparation, interview skills and online research training. Students focus on industries and occupations that they are passionate about and research the skills and education needed to pursue those jobs. Students are given practical instruction for locating appropriate employers, creating a relevant resume, and giving a great interview.
When available, we offer paid Work Experience (on-campus and in the community) to help students acclimate to the work environment and gain real-world skills that they wil take with them as they pursue their future careers.
