Welcome to Human Anatomy and Physiology. This will be a challenging course and a challenging year.  My expectations of you are high; I know you will do well if you apply yourself.  This course will be an extensive study of the structures and functions of the body and how each works.

Anatomy & Physiology is a detailed study of the structures and functions of the human body.  Various materials, apparatus, and dissections of assorted specimens are used to provide laboratory experiences in this area.  Correct scientific terminology, laboratory techniques and independent study are stressed. 

This course is a third or fourth-year science course. If you feel that this class/ dissections is not for you, there are other course options that will fulfill science credits.

It is my sincere desire that each of you succeed this year.  Anatomy is a challenging subject; however, it is also rewarding, stimulating, and fun.  I are here to help you, so if you are struggling, please do not hesitate to ask for help. Together we can make this year a positive experience!
