Vocal Jazz
*2023/24 is the first time in over a decade that Simi High Choir has not had a Vocal Jazz Choir. We hope to bring back this advanced-level, dynamic choir as we rebuild our program. :(

Vocal Jazz Choir is an advanced ensemble that focuses on difficult repertoire within Jazz, Pop, and Contemporary A Cappella genres. Students will further develop vocal technique, sight singing, microphone technique and improvisation skills. Students in Jazz Choir will be expected to rehearse outside of class, participate in weekly sectionals, sing the national anthem at select athletic events, and participate in additional performances and festivals. Two-part audition required.
