**Late exams:

AP policy- Please note that only school-sanctioned sporting events, funerals, conflict with another AP/IB exam or extreme illness/injury will be reasons for rescheduling an AP exam.  No other considerations will be made for late exams.  

IB policy- IB DOES NOT OFFER MAKE-UP EXAMS.  Unfortunately, IB exams CANNOT be rescheduled even in the event of a school-sanctioned sporting event.  This is an IB-sanctioned policy that all IB schools are required to follow.  In the case of an AP testing conflict, you will take the AP make-up date exam.  In the case of extreme illness/injury, other steps can be taken, but the student may be required to provide the IB with documentation of circumstances (doctor's note etc.).  The determination of validity is made by the IB and not Royal High School.  This will be approved or denied by the IB after appropriate documentation is provided.  The IB coordinator must be informed immediately to help mitigate these circumstances.
