Each day that you enter the studio, you should already know what you planned to work on, 

using YOUR personalized Inspo Slides & Building Plans THAT WERE PRE-APPROVED. 

AS A CERAMICS 2 STUDENT, YOU ARE ALSO A MENTOR AND TABLE MANAGER

Always be willing to provide a helping hand, but NOT at the risk of your own success - please send tough Q's to Tomimitsu:) 

IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO GLAZE OR PAINT, THAT IS ALWAYS THE TOP PRIORITY. 

DO NOT HOARD PEICES IN THE STRAGE CABINET! 

SOME POTTER'S WHEEL REMINDERS: NO Muddy Hands! Keep your hands "clean" but always wet!

 Homework: 5-15 Minutes of video demo research a night for "throwing" or "centering" on the potters wheel

YOUR Clean Up is 15 minutes prior to end of period - SET A TIMER!

New to the wheel? - Only use a "baseball" size of clay if you are a beginner - see the baseball for reference 

The wheel area is your station - YOU HELP ALL WHEEL PEOPLE AND WORK TOGETHER AT CLEAN UP!!!

EMPTY ALL SLURRY BUCKETS AT THE END OF EVERY PERIOD! 

The Potter's Wheels are not toys and you are NOT "Playing" 

Treat the wheels, the studio & clay w/ respect and follow the written rules, using common sense to avoid problems. 

SOME HAND-BUILDING REMINDERS:

Sit at assigned table & you may kindly advise and chat with the people at your table 

 ENCOURAGE KIND & MINDFUL BEHAVIOR

JOIN CLAY AT THE LEATHER-HARD STAGE (MOSTLY), SLIP/SCORE, ADD REINFORCEMENT COILS & PADDLE & SMOOTH ALOT WHEN HAND-BUILDING - these details were initially  missing from many of your Inspo Slides

Your storage closet is in the back of the room - use a blue tray and bag well! - TAPE NAME ON PROJECT!!!

You may use your laptop to watch re-watch demo videos or your slides. ---NO CELL PHONES---DO NOT ASK!
