Meet Mrs. Lewis!

Hello Sweet Families,

I am so excited to meet you all and get to know you and your child! My name is Ashley Dirickson, but the students can call me Mrs. Lewis. I got married this past October and I am expecting my first baby this fall as well. This is my fifth year teaching here at Mountain View and I have loved it! I have previously taught two k/1 combo classes and kindergarten. I student taught in 2nd grade and I am so excited to be here this year. We really are the best school if I don't say so myself. We are going to have so much fun this year. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I am basically living the dream! I love teaching reading, writing, math and art. My classroom is bright, playful, and has a splash of Disney! I love animals and have two cats. I love reading, shopping, and art. I enjoy spending time with friends, family and loved ones. I also spend a lot of time at the beach and in Arizona visiting family! 

This year your child will learn and grow so much and I am so happy to be a part of that! I love teaching whole group as well as small group. Building connections are a top priority for me in the classroom! 

Adventure is in Second Grade!
