I'm an author from the Maritimes in Canada. I've been writing most of my life. My late grandfather used to tease me about being born with a pen in one hand and paper in the other.
In the past 24 years, I've many stories, poems and articles published (listed on the pages linked on the left). My very first one was a story about a silly raven who used to aggravate the goats we had at the time (published in Rural Delivery). Since then, in addition to everything I've had published (and have yet to be published), I've received honourable mentions and been long/short listed. A few of my children's articles (published with Wee Ones Magazine) were slated to appear in a school book project, but that didn't pan out, unfortunately. My work has appeared in a best selling anthology (Mythology From the Rock with Engen Books) and in an award winning magazine (Polar Borealis). You'll see the stories associated with these magazines (Rural Delivery, Engen and Polar Borealis are all Canadian) listed on the above mentioned pages. I recently had an e-novel released titled "In the End. NOW AVAILABLE IN PAPERBACK. Both are available here.
For nine years, I was the editor of Youth Imagination, a young adult magazine, and prior to that I edited a children's magazine called Kids' 'Magination. We published some children with KM, but opening up to an older age group gave us a wider audience. We published teens and adults both. Some of our stories were the author's first. Before that I managed and participated in online writers' groups.
