Reps to visit SLHS during Lunch

• Army - September 14, October 12

• Kansas University - October 13

• Washburn University - October 20

Mental Health First Aid Parent Meeting

• Junior and Senior parents there will be a meeting on September 16th at 6:00 pm in the PAC to go over the Mental Health First Aid curriculum being taught this year. Students who complete all 4 training sessions which will occur during the school day will receive a certification. 

Financial Aid Meeting

• Seniors and senior parents are encouraged to attend the financial aid meeting on September 16th at 6:45 pm in the PAC. A college financial aid advisor will be presenting on the FAFSA and other aid to help students financially attend college. 

Washburn Tech for Spring Semester

• Any junior or senior interested in starting Washburn Tech in January needs to apply at www.washburntech.edu and then see Mrs. Liggatt to get the Consent to Enroll Form. The sooner you apply the better chance to get a spot in your program. 

ACT

• Register for the ACT by creating or signing in to an account at myact.org. The ACT test with no writing and science cost $70. Registration is typically due 3-4 weeks prior to the test date.
