• Marines - March 23

Scholarships

• The Bryan Lindstrom Inspirational Scholarship will award $1,500 scholarships to Silver Lake seniors. The application can be found on the google classroom. The deadline is April 9th. 

• The Doug Vander Linden Family Scholarship will award a $500 scholarship to a Kansas senior involved at some point in wrestling. The application can be found on the google classroom. The deadline is April 24th. 

Washburn Sophomore/Junior Day

• Washburn will be holding a visit day for any sophomore or junior interested in attending Washburn University on April 10th from 9-1. Please Mrs. Liggatt know if you are interested in attending. Transportation and lunch will be provided, but students must get registered. 

ACT

• Register for the ACT by creating or signing in to an account at myact.org. There are many changes to the 2025-2026 ACT so make sure to check them out on their website. The ACT test with no writing and science cost $68. Registration is typically due 3-4 weeks prior to the test date.

• 2026 Test Dates

• April 11, June 13, July 11

Enrollment Parent Meetings

• There will be virtual parent meetings on March 25th for anyone with a student attending the high school next school year to discuss graduation requirements, enrollment, and much more. These meetings will be on google meet, all student chromebooks have access to this. Here is the meeting link: https://meet.google.com/ihp-yxbj-ikn
