The extension may inspect webpage structure and visible text locally in your browser solely to identify and disable password-reveal controls. This information is processed in memory and is not retained or transmitted to Silver Edge IT or any third party.

The extension doesn't just handle data carefully — it doesn't handle data at all. There's no server it talks to, and no account to set up.
What the extension does
The extension inspects the structure of the web page currently open in your browser tab — element types, class names, and visible text — in order to find and disable "show password" / "reveal password" controls. This inspection happens locally, in memory, and nothing observed is ever written to disk, sent over the network, or retained after you navigate away from the page.

This extension is designed primarily for use on company-managed devices and is not directed at children.

The extension uses Chrome's managed storage API only to read configuration provided by an administrator, such as exempt domains, additional detection patterns, and the enable/disable setting. The extension does not write user data to local or synced Chrome storage.
