Industrial Engineering Network Conference started since 1982. This conference included member about 50 institutes in Thailand. The objective of the Industrial Engineering Conference is to publish research article and review article for industrial engineering educators, researchers, and practitioners to advance the practice and understanding of applied and theoretical aspects. And also, the Thai Industrial Engineering Network Journal (IENJ) was founding in 2015.

In 2022, Department of Industrial Engineering & Management, Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Silpakorn University, has been the host of the 40th Industrial Engineering Network Conference. The conference dates are on May, 11-12, 2022 with the theme of "Old Industries are New Again".
