This Video Clip shows you how to replace an older plan (perhaps one you added while experimenting with the feature) with a new one.




Instructions for using the MSEA Standard Plan

  1. Download the MSEA Standard Plan

    1. Double click MSEA Project Plan link and then click download

    2. Copy MSEA Base Plan Ver 4.2.xml into C:\My Paratext 8 Projects\_StandardPlans *Note that the "My Paratext 8 Projects" folder will have a different name for computers that have never had Paratext 8 installed*

  2. Assign the MSEA Standard Plan to your Project

    1. In Paratext 9 click on the Project Menu, then click on Project Setting and then click on Project Plan

    2. Then click the Manage Plans button and select MSEA Base Plan Ver 4.2 from the list of options

    3. Then click Copy Plan. This will replace the "current plan" with the MSEA Base Plan Ver 4.2

    4. Click OK to close the window.

  3. Updating the Project Plan

    1. Click the blue button with the graph logo in the top right. This will bring up the Assignments and Progress Window

    2. In the status column, you will see the progress..in terms of chapter numbers for the book in view (Current book is default) as well as basic checks that for that book

      1. If task has been completed for entire book, click the check box

      2. If task has been completed for chapter 1, click the + this will show that chapter 1 has been completed, you can then click the + when chapter two is done. This helps if working sequentially

      3. If several chapters have been completed, click the 'none' or the numbers in view then check the boxes next to specific chapters

    3. Do a Send\Receive to send status update to server
