1. Read Chapter 30 Principles of Advocacy from the Community Tool Box on the internet. Read all seven sections.
2. Write a brief summary of what you learned from this chapter. Share your summary with your mentor.
3. Watch the presentation Advocacy Principles and Practice.
4. For the advocacy outcome that you wrote down earlier, work through the first seven steps of the advocacy process in outline form and discuss them with your mentor.
