Faith and Farming

 The goal of Faith and Farming is twofold: to help those working on the land to engage with all of the Bible in the language that they use as they work on their farms or with their animals. We also want to help them make a connection between their faith in God and their day to day work so that their whole life is impacted for God and reflecting His greatness in everything they do and say.

The Faith and Farming programme seeks to encourage farmers by highlighting and learning from the many farmers in the Bible, including God Himself who planted the Garden of Eden.  We try to learn what we can about farming through our own farming experience and from talking to farmers so that we can provide helpful resources to encourage and bless farmers.

Faith and Farming is part of the Scripture Engagement Department of SIL Nigeria.
