PT Cafeteria Worker

Sigsbee Charter School is looking for a PT Cafeteria Worker for the 2026-2027 School Year.  This position works from approximately 9:15 am - 1:30 pm each day.  Eligible candidates must have their own transportation and use their own vehicle to pick up and return food to Gerald Adams Elementary School daily.  

Other duties include assisting in the cafeteria during all lunch serving sessions, inputting charges for students purchasing lunches and cleaning/organizing the cafeteria area at the direction of other cafeteria staff.

An hourly wage for hours worked plus mileage reimbursement to/from Sigsbee and Gerald Adams Elementary is provided.  ServSafe Food Handler Certified needed and can be obtained after hire.

 Substitute Teacher Opportunities 

All Sigsbee Charter School Substitute Teachers must have a Monroe County Substitute Teacher Certificate.  Sigsbee Charter will pay substitute teachers directly as 1099 contractors.  You will need to complete an I-9 form and submit the proper identification documents.  Substitutes will be expected to dress professionally but comfortably as we spend part of our day out of doors.  Substitutes will uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
