Meet Ms. Bacon

I grew up in a small town in Southern Indiana. After graduating from the University of Southern Indiana with my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, I moved to Key West. I have happily been with Sigsbee for 11 years and I look forward to another year teaching first grade with our new set of Sea Stars!

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, being outdoors, traveling, and  spending time with family and friends!

I will also be getting married this November!

Meet Mrs. Steer

I grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I moved to the United States 23 years ago and I’ve been a military wife for the last 21 years. After many years of moving all over the world and living in different places, due to my husband’s work, we settled down in Key West 11 years ago. I have two children, one in high school and another in 5th grade. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Development from American Military University, and I’ve been working with children for the past 10 years. This will be my sixth year working as a support teacher at SCS and I am very excited to meet and get to know all the Sea Star students.

In my spare time, I love to travel and spend time with friends and family.
