Mrs. O'Neill- Lead Teacher
Hello! My name is Madeleine O'Neill. I am from Tampa, but have lived in Key West since 2019.
I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of Florida. I have taught Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. I am thrilled to be in 2nd grade again! This will be my 5th year at Sigsbee, and I hope I have 30 more years ahead!
My husband and I are so lucky to call Key West home. We love going out fishing, lobstering and being on the water as much as possible.
Julia Serop- Support teacher
Hello! My name is Julia Serop. I am originally from Michigan, but have recently transferred here with my husband for the next few years!
I have earned a Bachelor of Accounting degree from South University and have recently gone back into school and am currently attending Western Governors University working on my Masters of Art for Elementary Education. I am excited to be starting my career in education at Sigsbee and excited to see what is ahead for this year.
My husband and I have two dogs who are my whole world. We love going to the dog park, taking walks, snuggling on the couch, and hanging out on the patio. As I settle into Key West, I will find new things to do and I am looking forward to it.
