Hello! My name is Renee Mortenson and I am very excited for my seventh year at Sigsbee Charter School!

I have a two year old son, Miles and just had a baby girl, Savannah, this summer! I will be staying home with my daughter until mid-September. Until then, Mrs. Schifano will be teaching Marlin ELA.

I am originally from Medina, Ohio and have lived in Key West for six years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Ashland University, in Ohio. This school year will be my 11th year of teaching. I previously taught in Kentucky, and in Beijing, China.

I am looking forward to getting to know you and your student this year. I know it will be a great year with lots of reading and memories!
