Meet Ms.Skelley

As a proud member of a military family, I grew up exploring new places before eventually planting roots in Maryland, where I graduated from Towson University. I am the mom of two amazing sons, Dylan and Ben, and share my days with our lovable chocolate lab, Ruff. Over the years, I have worn many hats in education—from teaching Pre-K to fourth grade, to serving as a literacy coach and working in higher ed.

When I’m not in the classroom, you will find me soaking up the sun on a paddleboard, boating with my family, cheering for the Baltimore Ravens, or doing my part to protect the planet by saving turtles and cleaning the beach. Reading is my daily escape, and the Florida Keys have been my happy place for nearly three decades.

Now, I’m beyond excited to call this island paradise home and to be part of the incredible Sigsbee community for the fifth year!
