My name is Anna Chambliss. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, I have called Key West home for the past 15 years. I earned my Master’s Degree in Education with a Specialty in Reading from the University of Missouri–St. Louis and my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Missouri. Go Tigers!
This will be my 11th year in education. Before becoming an interventionist, I was an elementary classroom teacher and previously taught as a second-grade teacher at Sigsbee. I am passionate about helping students grow as readers and love teaching the subject that has always been my favorite—Reading!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I stay busy with our two children, a ten-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. We love boating, bike riding, and spending time outdoors together. One of my favorite things about living in the Florida Keys is being able to enjoy outdoor activities year-round.
When I have a little time for myself, you can usually find me out for a run or curled up with a good book.
