Mrs. Chambliss

My name is Anna Chambliss.  I am originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but have lived here in Key West for the past 13 years.  I have a Masters in Education with a Specialty in Reading  from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.  I received my bachelor's degree in education from Mizzou.  Go Tigers!  This will be my 9th year of teaching.  Before becoming a reading interventionist, I was an elementary classroom teacher and actually have previously taught at Sigsbee as a second grade teacher.  I have spent the last few years at home with my two small children, but am eager and excited to be back working with students again, especially teaching the subject I love most, Reading! 

In my free time, I love to spend time with my family!  My four year old son and eight year old daughter keep my husband and me very busy.  We enjoy boating, bike riding, and just spending time outdoors.  Being able to spend time outside all year round is one of my favorite perks of living in the Keys! When I get a minute to myself, you can usually find me out on a run or reading a book!
