Hello! I am Mrs. Johnston. I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts. I obtained  my Bachelor of Science degree in Plastics Engineering from the University of Lowell, MA.   I worked as a engineer in the plastic color industry for 25 years.  I obtained my Masters In Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Fl..  I am married and have 7 children and also raised my 2 nieces.  

I completed my Teacher Certification program from Broward College.  I began my teaching career in Hawaii, at  Wahiawa MIddle School on the Island of Oahu.  I obtained my Masters in Mathematics grades 5 to 9 from Western Governor's University (WGU).  I taught 6th through 8th grade Mathematics for 5 years at Horace O'Bryant Middle School.  I am so excited to be here at Sigsbee Charter School . I am looking forward to meeting my new students and getting to know them and their families.
