Hello Sigsbee family! I am excited to be a part of the Sigsbee community again this year. I have been a licensed mental health counselor for 25 years and worked in many different capacities to include adults, teens, and young children. I earned my bachelor's degree from Langston University and continued on to earn my masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from North Eastern State University.
I began working at Sigsbee charter school (SCS) as a Military Family Life Counselor from 2014-2015, then again from 2017-2020. At that time, I was offered a school counselor position and I gladly accepted. I am thoroughly enjoying working with the amazing Sigsbee staff and often collaborate with the support services team to assist students and staff daily with their varying needs.
I have been blessed with two adult daughters and my sweet doggie Frankie! I enjoy gardening, home DIY projects, and traveling. Frankie and I take daily walks alongside the water and absolutely love living in Key West!
I look forward to serving the Sigsbee community for years to come!
