I am looking forward to another exciting year at Sigsbee Charter School! This is my fourth year at Sigsbee. I taught 4th grade ELA my first three years, and I'm excited to move up to 5th grade with a great bunch of students. 

My family moved to Florida in 2013 and moved to the Keys in the summer of 2022. We love our life in the Keys!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and my Master's degree in Early Childhood Education from Johnson State College in Vermont. 

During my teaching career, I've taught Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. While I loved teaching the little ones, I also love the growing independence of our upper elementary students. My hope is to ignite a passion for reading and writing in students.
