Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  I look forward to another exciting year at Sigsbee Charter!

I moved to the Keys from the Outer Banks of North Carolina last July.  I joined the 3rd Grade team as the Science teacher and also serve as the Kindergarten Science teacher.

I received my Bachelor's Degree from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.  I taught in Dare County, North Carolina for 20 years before moving here last summer.  During my teaching career, I've taught Pre-Kindergarten, 4th, 5th and 3rd. This will be my 28th year of teaching.  I look forward to working with each of you in supporting your child to reach their potential.

I love coffee, a good book, comfy socks, exploring new places, dogs, the beach, kayaking, fishing and just about anything that involves being outdoors.  My husband and I enjoy fishing together when we have the opportunity.  I also love spending time with my family! I have two children and they both serve in the Coast Guard.  I'm also a grandmother to the greatest little guy in the world, Percy.
