Meet Mrs. Ferguson

Hello! My name is Stephanie Ferguson and I'm so excited to be teaching your child at Signal Hill School this year! My alma mater is McKendree University and I'm proud to be a Bearcat and a Warrior. I have been teaching at Signal HIll School since 2010 after student teaching in 4th grade. While student teaching at Signal HIll, I absolutely fell in love with everything about SHS. So much so, that I don't even mind my one way 40 minute commute to school. It is truly my honor to be a Warrior and to be a part of your child's education.

When I'm not in school mode, I'm hanging out with my family. Together, we love to cook, garden, travel, music, and spend time with friends and family. Our son Michael recently graduated with his master's degree and returned back to the area, with his dog Juniper, to work at Scott AFB. As a military family, we couldn't be more thrilled to have him close to home again.
