Skill Development Cell (SDC)

Introduction
  • Skill Development Cell (SDC) is an initiative taken by Electronics and Telecommunication Department.
  • Started culture of hands-on workshops for the student at department from 2015.
  • It include workshops which contains theoretical sessions followed by hands-on practical sessions.
  • The main aim of SDC is to train the students in the following domains,
    • Embedded Systems
    • Internet of Things (IoT)
    • Different Micro-controller boards and their programming
    • Small single board computer like Raspberry pi
    • Wireless Sensor Networks

SDC Training Sessions
  • SDC basically conduct workshops after final semester examination of the students /during start of the semester.
  • Workshops are normally organised for 2-3 days.
  • Trained 100+ students via SDC cell till date.
