ProjectS UNDERTAKEN

1. Development of web based software for Outcome based Education.

The software will be useful for calculating attainment levels of the course batch-wise as per NBA formats. This is developed by BECE students (Aaditya Gurav, Sumeet Hande, Shubham Kokane) of 2019-20 batch as their final year project. The same project is enhanced by BECE students (Jagjot Khokhar, Alifiya Anklavwala, Preeti Kurade) of 2020-21 batch as their final year project.

2. Log data analysis to predict learning behaviors in Fathom

The log data generated based on student interaction with Fathom learning tool is analyzed using learning analytics algorithms to predict student learning behaviors. This will allows us to get insights on how low, average and high performers interact with the tool. in future, this intelligence may be incorporated in the Fathom, which will help to provide real time feedback, while learners are using it.

This project is in progress and undertaken by current batch (2020-21) of BECE students (Vedant B. Shreyas T, Salman S.)

3. Technology Enhanced Learning Environment for developing Software Design Skills for Undergraduate Engineering Students.

A learning environment named Fathom, is developed for teaching and learning of software design skills to undergraduate computer engineering students. The learning system has scaffolds in form of cognitive and metacognitive prompts, adaptive feedback and collaboration with peers.

4. Minor research project on "Intelligent System for Women Security" funded by University of Mumbai.

5. Session plan Design

Prepared formats for session plan to map learning outcomes with cognitive level, instructional design and assessment questions. The calculation of attainment levels of learning outcomes and mapping them to course outcomes and program outcomes in accordance with NBA. Conducted expert workshop to train teachers and coordinated with other departments session plan coordinators.

6. Intelligent Tutoring system to teach Telugu language.

A web based learning environment was developed to teach and learn Telugu language. The system was adaptive based on the learner's current knowledge. The exercises were generated automatically by the system and based on the learners answers adaptive feedback was generated.
