“Never, ever give up on hope, never doubt, never tire, and never become discouraged. Be not afraid.”
— Saint John Paul II
Dear Families and Friends of Siena,
As the seasons change and the leaves turn from green to rich fall colors, we are reminded of God’s grace revealed in all of creation. This month, as we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, we reflect on how the Rosary draws us closer to the great mysteries of our faith and to the loving heart of Christ. In our schools, faith continues to be at the center of everything we do. Throughout October, many of our communities are praying the Rosary together, seeking guidance, peace, and strength as we grow in faith.
Alongside our devotion to faith, we take great pride in the academic and extracurricular accomplishments of our students. As the first quarter draws to a close, our dedicated staff remain steadfast in their mission to help every child reach their fullest potential. It brings me great joy to see our students thriving—in their studies, in athletics, in service, and in their friendships. These are the hallmarks of a Siena education: faith, excellence, and community working together to nurture hearts and minds.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership as we journey together through this school year. May we always hold fast to hope, confident that God walks with us every step of the way.
With deep gratitude,
Dr. Sue Savaglio-Jarvis
President, Siena Catholic Schools of Racine

From dividing decimals to modeling square roots, the middle school students at St. Joe's can do it all! In social studies, 8th grade prepared presentations on Indigenous North American groups, and 7th grade learned about mapping with Dcn. Doug!
This fundraiser has been a tradition for many years, and this year the 8th graders designed a haunted stage that featured three levels of "scary" to accommodate all groups of visitors! Our 24 students, parents, teachers, and staff pitched in to offer food, drinks, a bouncy house, face painting, games, and prizes for the entire school community.
OLOGA held their annual Catholic Schools Walk last Friday. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate school community, share their faith, and for everyone to enjoy a beautiful afternoon together!
Pictured is the combined class of 1st and 2nd graders engaged in learning during religion class.
Students at St. Lucy enjoyed a dress down day to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!
October was filled with family fun for JPIIA, including their Donuts With Grown Ups event and the Marco's Pizza fundraiser!
