Hi! My name is Mrs. Ackman and I am so excited to be a part of the SID 5 Pre-K team! I received my degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Western Illinois University and have been working in early childhood for over twenty years. I live in Schuyler County with my husband, two daughters, and our two dogs. In my free time I love to go kayaking and do LOTS of reading! This is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and adventures and I can't wait to see what it has in store!

Hello! My name is Miranda Viano and I could not be more excited to join the Pre-K team at SID 5! I have received my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Western Illinois University. I have been a daycare teacher during my time in college and have absolutely loved it. During my free time I love to make art of any kind, spend time with my family and friends, and of course play with my dog Phoebe! I’m so excited to have the opportunity to work with your kiddos. We have a fun year of learning ahead of us!  

Hi! My name is Tara Lewis and I have been teaching Pre-K and early childhood special education for over 25 years.  I graduated from Western Illinois University with a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education. When I'm not with preschoolers or my family, I'm often in a quiet spot with a book.  My favorite part of teaching early childhood is seeing children realize their own potential as learners. I'm excited to be a part of your child's first school experience and look forward to a fantastic year!
