During March 2020 many states across the United States put into place Stay at Home orders to slow the spread of the coronavirus. How did these orders, resulting in many people staying at home, impact the world around us? The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), European Space Agency (ESA), and Japanese Space Agency (JAXA) worked together to gather together satellite images that help us better understand human activity and its impact on Earth during this time.
