Dr. Vinod Kumar

Dr. Vinod Kumar has received a Master of Philosophy in Mathematics from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India. He has received a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Data Processing from IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur, India. He also earned a Ph.D. in elliptic curve cryptography (ECC)-based authentication protocols in cloud computing from the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India. He received the best paper award 2022 entitled "RSEAP: RFID based secure and efficient authentication protocol for vehicular cloud computing" form Q1 and SCIE journal "Vehicular Communications, Elsevier" Journal with impact factor 6.7. He qualified qualified CSIR National Eligibility Test (NET) in Mathematical Sciences in 2011. In the same year, he also qualified for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Mathematics.  He has over 10 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry in the fields of Mathematics, information security, and related fields. Presently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Mathematics, Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India. He has supervised 6 M.Tech scholars in the area of security and optimization. He is a lifetime member of Operational Research Society of India (ORSI), India & MathTech Thinking Foundation (MTTF), India. He has received the “Recognition/Reviewer certificate award” from many reputed journals.  Dr. Kumar has presented 29 research papers/talk in conferences/workshops. He has authored or co-authored of 49 research papers in reputed international journals and conferences like IEEE/Elsevier/Springer/Wiley/Taylor & Francis. Also, he has co-authored a book entitled “Elementary Real Analysis”.  His research interests include remote user authentication protocols, signature protocols, information and network security, and applied mathematics. He has also served as a reviewer for some renowned journals, such as Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine, Informatics in Medicine Unlocked, Journal of Systems Architecture, Journal of Information Security and Applications, Optics, IEEE ACCESS, Wireless Personal Communications, Security and Communication Networks, Computers & Electrical Engineering, Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing, International Journal of Communication Systems, Security and Privacy Wiley, Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies,  Indonesian Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. He has been associated with many conferences as a TPC member and  session chair etc.
